Current Discussion Focus:  "The Explicit Gospel"

Gateway’s Young Adult Ministry is designed to engage those in the post-grad stage of life with the life-changing message of the Gospel.  Those in this season might find themselves in different places - finishing up master’s degrees, beginning a career, seeking out new opportunities, considering going into the ministry, or possibly beginning a family.  Gateway’s Young Adult Ministry seeks to minister to those in these formative years by creating a community of believers that cling tightly to the truth of God’s Word.

Through a weekly Bible study, monthly hangouts, random dinners, and sometimes a game night here and there, the young adult group cultivates life lived together - in Christ. Through the careful study of God’s Word and the desire to walk in obedience to what His truth calls his followers to, this group seeks to dive into conversations on the role of the local church, knowing and understanding God’s will, the purpose and call to prayer, and so much more.

Led by a team of young adult guys, the group meets weekly on Thursday nights at 7:00 p.m. at Gateway Baptist Church in the gym. Currently, they are walking together through The Explicit Gospel by Matt Chandler.  This book seeks to lay a solid foundation for a very important question - what is the Gospel?  Each week the group is challenged to grow in their knowledge of God as they seek to glorify Him in all that they do.”  Copies are available on Thursday evenings, or on Sunday mornings in the Resource Center outside the church office.
