Youth in grades 7-12 are invited to join us for DNow weekend on February 23 - 25! Advanced registration is required (see below).
What is DNow?
A "Disciple Now" (DNow) weekend is a youth retreat primarily in host homes, combined with special gatherings all together. The weekend includes large city-wide praise gatherings with other youth groups, bible studies in homes, recreation, and opportunities to serve. The atmosphere helps students deepen their relationship with Christ, serve with local missions opportunities, and enjoy fellowship with other students as well as adults from the church.
The Details
We will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, February 23, and conclude with our Bible study time and worship service on Sunday, February 25.
Students will spend Friday and Saturday nights in the host homes of Gateway members. Meals will be provided at either the host home or the Gateway campus.
This year's theme is "Make it Matter," which shows the difference a life empowered by the Word of God can make. We will see how God designed us to impact the world together, and how trusting in His plan is the key to real impact. Students will have opportunities to put in practice these truths as they serve together with Shepherd's Staff ministry on Saturday afternoon.
A full schedule and list of items to bring will be provided to registered students and their parents.
Registration and Cost
The cost for the weekend is $40 and includes a workbook, t-shirt, and food during the weekend.
Advanced registration is required, and the deadline to register is Wednesday, February 7.
