With Gateway unable to meet together at the church campus due to the coronavirus precautions, we want to resource you to teach your kids what they would be learning at Gateway these weeks!
As you know, we use The Gospel Project for Kids curriculum across Kids Bible Study, Kids Worship, and Kids Club. It is a 3 year cycle that covers Genesis to Revelation. Over these next three weeks, the lessons finish the Old Testament with Malachi, review the big picture of Adam to Jesus, and introduce the birth of John the Baptist. These are really important lessons, and we don't want your kids to miss them!
Would you seize the opportunity to teach your children these important truths at home?
Each Wednesday we will post here and email you a lesson plan and activity sheet for you to use.
Here are this week's materials for you:
WEEK 1 - March 18-24
Lesson: Malachi the Prophet
This lesson is very timely.... The key question is Who is in control of everything?
This leader guide will clearly and simply walk you through the lesson so you can teach it to your family.

Your kids are accustomed to doing an activity sheet that goes with each lesson. The sheets are different for preschool to 3rd grade and 4th to 6th grade. Download the appropriate activity sheet to print at home below:
Also - Note that each sheet has family discussion questions. These are great to use!

RESOURCES FOR DOING FAMILY WORSHIP:
We hope that this opportunity for family worship will prove to be a blessing to your family. Don Whitney, the author of the excellent book Family Worship, writes, "This is why family worship is so important.... God deserves to be worshiped daily in our homes by our families." If you are interested in learning more about the concept of "family worship," click here to watch a short video from Don Whitney, or order a copy of his book.
If you need any additional resources or if we can help you as you teach your kids at home, please contact Molly Moore, Gateway's Children's Ministry Director, at email@example.com.
