Men, we find ourselves in the midst of a very challenging season of life right now.  In the midst of the uncertainty, more than every we need community to encourage and help one another.  We are excited to provide you with a new opportunity to grow in community, find encouragement, and have some fun all at the same time!

During August, September, and October, we regularly will gather together with one another for various outside adventures.  Let's take advantage of the longer summer daylight hours and fellowship while enjoying God’s creation.  Over these weeks, we will have regular meetings every other Tuesday evening for a local hike, devotional, and prayer time together.  We also have a challenging day hike planned on a Saturday and an overnight backpacking trip as well!  Read below for details and make plans to join us!

TUESDAY EVENING TRAIL HIKES

We’ll start out meeting every other Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 7:45 p.m.  Our first two gatherings will be at the Lagoon Park Trails here in Montgomery.  Please arrive no later than 6 p.m. as we will begin promptly at that time.  We will do a short devotional and discussion, take a hike, and close by praying for each other.  Bring your own water.   Insect repellent and a first aid kit will be provided.  Meet at the Lagoon Park Trail south parking lot at the corner of Gunter Park Drive East and Lagoon Park Drive.

In other weeks we will vary things with a cookout outside at the Gateway campus and do a hike at the AUM trails.  See the schedule above for details.

Please note:  These trails are rated easy but they follow uneven dirt, gravel and concrete surfaces.

BIGGER ADVENTURES

On Saturday, September 12, we will go up to Lake Martin to do a more challenging hike together - The Deadening Alpine Trail.  It is a 3.6 mile trail rated hard that has some amazing scenery and views of lake Martin.

In addition, we will do a longer hike and overnight backpacking adventure in the Cheaha wilderness on October 9-10.

Both of these special events will require some advanced preparation and advanced registration which will be available here closer to time.
