Gateway is excited to once again partner with Operation Christmas Child this year!  Take a minute to see how you can be involved in getting the Gospel to the ends of the earth in a very easy way!

Empty boxes are available now for you to pickup in the hallway outside the church office!

The Samaritan’s Purse project "Operation Christmas Child" collects shoe-box gifts filled with fun toys, school supplies and hygiene items, and then delivers them to children in need around the world to demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way. For many of these children, the gift, a filled shoe-box, is the first gift they have ever received.

Click here for a quick overview of how shoe-boxes lead to the spread of the Gospel!

Anyone can pack a shoe-box! Individuals, families, and small groups can fill empty shoe-boxes with school supplies, hygiene items and fun toys, such as dolls or soccer balls.  To learn how to pack a box, view gift suggestions, or get a label to follow your box through the process, click here

As you prepare your box, please do not include candy, toothpaste, used or damaged items, war‑related items (such as toy guns, knives or military figures), seeds, chocolate, food, liquids, lotions, medications, vitamins, breakable items (such as snow globes or glass containers), or aerosol cans.  However, we do encourage you to include a photo and personal note of encouragement for the child!

For a $10 donation per box, you can track your box to its destination!  The label you need to so is already is provided in the box you pickup at Gateway.

Empty shoe-boxes for you to fill are now available at Gateway in the hallway outside the church office.

  • Each box already contains in it a label you will need.
  • Brochures on how to best pack boxes are available in the hallway as well.

The deadline to return completed boxes to Gateway is Sunday, November 19.

If you have any questions please contact the church office.  We hope you will join us in this very practical way to bless children in need around the world and take the Gospel to the ends of the earth!
