The men of Gateway are invited to join a day of outdoor adventure, fellowship, and biblical reflection as we hike the scenic "Deadening Alpine Trail" along the shores of Lake Martin on Saturday, September 12.  This 3.1 mile trail starts in the woods then cuts over to follow the shoreline of Lake Martin directly across from Chimney Rock Island. The trail is rated strenuous for its numerous short uphill climbs.  To learn more about the trail click here.

You will have the option of meeting at Gateway at 9 a.m. to carpool to the trail, or you can meet us at the trail at 10:15 a.m.  Be sure to pack some water, snacks for the trail, and a picnic lunch in a cooler for a late lunch after the hike.  We will return to Gateway by late afternoon.
