Did you know that the Montgomery Baptist Association and the Alabama Baptist Convention have teams of trained volunteers ready to respond to natural disasters?  These teams are equipped and put together ahead of time, so when a disaster strikes, they are able to be the first responders to meet the needs and point people to Christ.

Disaster relief teams include chaplain, chainsaw, mass feeding, childcare, communications, cleanup, and even laundry services.  They even have teams of people gifted in administration to coordinate the work.

Disaster relief training also is available in this area later this month.  More details are at https://sbdr.org/

One of Gateway's member, John Cordell, is a trained disaster relief worker and would love to talk to you more about it!  To learn more email John.
