We are excited to let you know that at a special business meeting on July 25, the Gateway church family overwhelmingly affirmed two important recommendations from our elder team.  First, the church family approved a new job description to create the position of music minister on the Gateway Church staff.  Second, the church family approved calling Justin Taylor to serve as our music minister.

Justin begins immediately in this new role.  Please regularly be praying for Justin as he leads our music ministry team, and as he leads us in corporate praise each week.  This position is such an important role in the life of the church, and your prayers for him, as well as for the other leaders, are so important.

If you don't know Justin, here is a little more about him... 

Justin and Alana were married in 2007 and have two kids, Cayden and Callie.  They have been part of Gateway since 2018.  In addition to his role at Gateway, he also works at US Foods.  In his free time, Justin enjoys playing music, drawing, designing and building things, and watching movies.  His favorite movies include Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Inception, and the Dark Knight trilogy.  His favorite musical groups include Sovereign Grace Music, Austin Stone, CityAlight, Hans Zimmer, Howard Shore, James Horner, and the Piano Guys.  His favorite books include Worship Matters by Bob Kauflin and The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien.  He also enjoys listening to theology podcasts.
