Join us on Sunday, August 29, as we welcome a special missionary family to Gateway!  Gateway is partnering with this family to be a prayer support church, and we want you to get to know them!

They have been serving the Lord in a restricted part of the world for many years.  They will share with us how they have God seen move, and their experience of God's faithfulness through trials when the government learned what they were doing.  However, that experience has not stopped them, and they have an amazing opportunity in a new part of the world to equip pastors and provide biblical counseling to other missionaries. 

We have several opportunities for you to connect with them:

YOUTH & COLLEGE STUDENT BIBLE STUDY
Sunday, August 29 ~ 9:00 a.m.

They will be sharing with the students on the topic of apologetics, or defending the faith.  He will talk about how to share the Gospel with atheists, and how to share the Gospel cross-culturally.  Students will have time to ask questions.

PREACHING IN WORSHIP SERVICE
Sunday, August 29 ~ 10:30 a.m.

This missionary will be our guest preacher as he shares his experience of God's faithfulness on the mission field, and challenges us to have a biblical view of global missions!

COFFEE & CONVERSATIONS
Sunday, August 29 ~ 4:00 p.m.

The family will join us for coffee and conversations in the sanctuary.  This will be an informal time where you can ask questions about missions, the part of the world where they have served, or their experiences as a missionary family.

MEN'S MISSIONS LUNCH
Monday, August 30 ~ 11:30 a.m.

They, along with Pastor Grady, will be hosting a lunch for men who would like to be involved in seeing Gateway grow in global missions.  Come join us for a discussion over lunch on how Gateway can be more involved in making Christ known around the world.  Email Pastor Grady to learn more.

MEALS WITH THE MISSIONARY FAMILY
Saturday, Sunday, and Monday

The best way to connect with them is over a meal!  Would you host their family at a restaurant or in a home for one of the meals while they are here?  They are arriving Friday evening and staying through Tuesday morning.  Email Erin Gross to setup a time!
