SATURDAY & SUNDAY
October 16-17

Men, you are invited to take part in a two-day, one-night weekend adventure along a portion of the scenic Pine Mountain Trail in west Georgia that combines hiking and camping along the trail with Bible study.  We will unplug from technology, seek some adventure, hang out by the campfire, and spend some time with the Creator in His creation.

No previous backpacking experience is required, and some loaner gear is available for those new to backpacking.

Space for this trip is limited to 15 people.  Because of the limited space, this trip is reserved for those ages 13 and up. Advance registration is required.  The cost is $20 which includes van transportation to and from the trail, and dinner and breakfast at the camp site.

We will hike the Wolfden Loop, an 8 mile route that encompasses parts of the Pine Mountain Trail and the Beaver Ponds Trail, which is located in F.D. Roosevelt State Park in Georgia.   On Saturday, we will hike about 5 miles through some hilly areas then setup camp for the night.  On Sunday, we will hike about three miles, passing by several waterfalls and other water features along a stream until we return to the trailhead.  These trails are in a hilly, mountainous area.  Our route has several climbs each day, but it does not have sustained elevation change.   Click here to learn more about the trail.

Advanced registration is required for this event:
