We are hosting another meeting of The Gateway Forum this Sunday at 4:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary. We will be discussing one of the key topics when it comes to engaging in discussion about our faith: the problem of evil. In general, the problem of evil can be summarized in this question: "Why is there suffering and pain in the world if God is all powerful and good?" This is a place for anyone who wants to explore this question whether you have doubts or want to learn about how to answer this question.
We have a great opportunity to hear from Cameron Ross as he leads this discussion. He and his family are currently stationed at Maxwell Air Force Base. Cameron is a husband and father of three with a passion for teaching people to love the Lord with all of their minds. Nothing brings him more joy than to enable Christians to thoughtfully and graciously engage the world for the glory of Christ. He has a master's degree in Christian Apologetics from Biola University and has taught in a number of venues. He regularly teaches on topics like evil and the existence of God, science and faith, the reliability of scriptures, Christianity and pop culture, and the defense of the resurrection.
We hope to see you there for a great discussion.
