We have an opportunity for you to serve Capitol Heights Middle School (CHMS) this week!

Through our Helping Our Public Education System (HOPES) ministry at CHMS, we have gotten to know one of the coaches very well.  His name is Ken Johnson.   Coach Johnson has been teaching at the school for the past 10 years.  He has always been a big supporter of ours and helps us out in any way he can with our various ministries there.

This year, Coach Johnson was named the new Athletic Director at CHMS.  We want to support him and thank him for his continued support of our efforts.  To that end, we are coordinating a car wash this Saturday, October 22,  with all proceeds going to support the CHMS Athletic Department so that Coach Johnson can better serve the student-athletes at the school.

In addition to washing cars, we also want to use the time to encourage Coach Johnson and the student-athletes he will have out there helping us.  We will also pray with those who stop by to get their cars washed, and have a great time of fellowship with one another.

YOU CAN SERVE IN ONE OF TWO WAYS:

  1. Come get your car washed!
    • We will be washing cars on Saturday, October 22, from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
    • Please note - The car wash will be held at Dalraida Baptist Church at 3838 Wares Ferry Road.

  2. Come help us wash cars, encourage people, and pray with people.

I am excited to encourage Coach Johnson and continue this long-standing relationship for the sake of the Gospel.  Please pray for us in this endeavor.  I look forward to seeing you on Saturday!
