Gateway members,

As a congregational church, the accountability for what we do rests with you, not with a denomination or group outside of Gateway.  As such, we gather once a year for an annual member meeting.  This meeting is so important in the life of the church, we are going to approach it very differently this year!

This year the meeting will be held over a pizza lunch in the gymnasium immediately following the worship service on Sunday, December 11.  We want to make it easier for you and your family to attend, so we will gather while we all already are on campus, and we will provide a free pizza lunch for you as well!  It will last from 12:00 noon until 1:30 p.m. at the latest.

You also will notice a different approach to it this year.  The emphasis will be less on where we have been, and more on the vision of where we are headed in the upcoming year.  And yes, we will discuss and ask you to approve the proposed 2023 budget, which is an important part of congregational accountability in the church.  A summary of that proposed budget will be emailed to all members on November 28, and copies of the full line-by-line budget will be available in the church office beginning that day as well for those who have further questions about it.

We want to encourage - and boldly ask - that every member make it a priority to attend.  Please use the link below to register to let us know if you are coming, as well as how many in your family will be joining you so we have enough food for everyone.

CHILDCARE NOTE - An activity time will be provided by several of our childcare volunteers for K5 to 6th grade in the gym building kids rooms after they eat lunch.  Unfortunately, childcare for preschool is not available for this event.  However, you are welcome to keep your little ones with you, or even bring things for them to play with in the gymnasium while we meet.

To save time, only one adult per family needs to register.
