2023 SPRING SEMESTER WEDNESDAY
GROUPS ENDED ON MAY 24, 2023

Be watching this blog for a summer women's Bible study,
special activities for the men of the church, and for
information for the fall mid-week opportunities
that begin on Wednesday, August 16.

Our winter-spring semester of Wednesday evening opportunities has begun and we would love for you to be part of it!

As always, our children have Kids Club and our teenagers have their mid-week Bible study.  For the adults, we have a men's book study, and two women's Bible studies.  All three groups meet in the gym building at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesdays:

MEN'S STUDY - "TWELVE ORDINARY MEN"
Room 4 / Led by Grady Smith & William Foxx

12OrdinaryMen.jpgMen, join us for a new book study!  Each week we will read on our own a chapter from John MacArthur's book Twelve Ordinary Men, then discuss it together in our group when we gather!  In this book, MacArthur looks at how Jesus took regular guys like us and transformed them to change the world for the glory of God.  He looks at each of the twelve disciples - their selection, their training, their personalities, and their impact. As we discuss these men who walked with Jesus, we will see how God desires to accomplish His purposes through us as well!

LADIES STUDY 1 - "PRECEPTS: EXODUS"
Room 1 / Led by Karen Fowler

PreceptsExodus.jpgJoin us for a study of the book of Exodus using the inductive Bible method.  We will take two weeks to work through each lesson.  We will watch Kay Arthur's teaching on our verses, then discuss the lesson together over two weeks.  In our study we will see God develop Moses as a leader, deliver His people, and learn powerful truths about His ways.   This study is a remarkably practical study of deliverance, redemption, the Law, and the Tabernacle.

LADIES STUDY 2 - "ABIDE: 1, 2, and 3 JOHN"
Room 2 / Led by Trish Butterfield

Abide.jpgJoin us for a study of 1, 2, and 3 John.  We will use Jen Wilkin's videos and workbooks to guide our study of the text and the discussion together each week.  In our study we will see how we have assurance of our faith, how we can discern the truth from a lie, and how we know that God loves His people.  We will see how to hold fast to what we know and how to live like we believe.
