REST.  What happens when you hear that word? Do you immediately dismiss the idea, thinking it will never happen for you? After all, you think, my life is too busy to take a break and rest. Or does your heart cry out in longing? Does your body crave a reprieve from the hustle and bustle of your days? Does your entire being desperately desire rest?

The Lord Jesus spoke candidly about the topic of rest. He knew that we would struggle over and over to get the rest we need. That’s why in Matthew 11:28-29 He said, “Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.”  We desire to grow in approaching each day with renewed hope for rest, in breathing deeply, and in grasping the life-changing importance of stillness. We want to experience the Lord and His deep love for us.  We want to find rest for our souls.

To help us grow in this area, and to provide an opportunity to rest and renew, we hope you will join us for our fall ladies retreat! 

Here are the details:

• We will stay together in a large home in Mentone, Alabama.
• Check-in is 4 p.m. Friday, and check-out is 11 a.m. Sunday.
• Space is limited to 20.  Registration is open to adult women ages 18+.
• Games, quiet times, devotionals, testimonies, and hiking trails all will be available.
• Meals are provided (dinner Friday, lunch and dinner Saturday, and grab-and-go breakfasts on both Saturday and Sunday mornings).  Please let us know if you have any food allergies when you register.
  
• The cost is $150.  Scholarships are available if cost is prohibitive.  A $50 deposit is required at registration.
  
• Advanced registration is required, and space is limited.
