Join us for a Scripture Feast!  The Bible says, "Your words were found, and I ate them, and your words became to me a joy and the delight of my heart, for I am called by your name, O Lord, God of hosts" (Jeremiah 15:16) and "More to be desired, are they than gold, even much fine gold; sweeter also than honey and drippings of the honeycomb" (Psalm 19:10).

Do you ever find God’s Word bland, dry, or burdensome? If you don’t feel this right now, you likely have before or will at some point. While there are many reasons this may be the case, we encourage you to consider Scripture memorization as one of the tools God has given you to pursue His promised joy.

To help you consider the role of Scripture memory in your life, we have an exciting opportunity for you!  Here are the details....

WHEN / WHERE

We will meet on Sunday, August 4, immediately following the worship service in the gym building.  A lunch will be provided.  We will finish by 2:00 p.m.

WHAT TO EXPECT

You can expect lunch followed by a panel discussion relevant for people of all ages and stages of life.  We will share testimonies and ideas for WHY and HOW to actually memorize scripture.  Our prayer is that time together considering and celebrating God’s Word will not give add a burden to you, but rather give you a taste of joy.

WHO THIS IS FOR

While memorization can start at very young ages, this event is intended for teenagers and adults.  If you are interested in childcare for your younger children, please indicate so on registration and we will let you know if it becomes available.

REGISTRATION & QUESTIONS

There is no cost to attend.  However, we need you to register by Wednesday, July 31, so we can have enough food and be prepared for you.
