ADVENT BLOCK KITS
Available For Pickup on Sundays and Wednesdays

We are so excited to offer Gateway families with kids (ages birth through 6th grade) an advent activity kit for this Christmas season! 

This activity kit will allow your family to gather together and spend 8 days reading God's word together as you create a craft to help you prepare your hearts for Christmas.  The craft will be a wooden cube with something to paint or draw on one side each day.  Each day you will journey in Scripture from creation through the redemptive story of the gospel of Jesus.  Your family also will memorize together Colossians 1: 15-17 as you work through the advent activity:

 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him. And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together.

When you are finished, you will have a wooden advent cube you have designed to think about the reason for the season!  We have gathered all the materials you will need (wooden cube, paint, paint brush, sharpie, ribbon, memory verse card, and instructions) into one bag that can be picked up on Sunday or Wednesday.  There will be a table just outside the church office with those bags for you.
