Gateway family,

I so enjoyed our 61 weeks journey through the Gospel of John!  I hope that you found it beneficial as we looked at the life of Christ and what true belief looks like.  I hope you were encouraged and challenged all at the same time!   I pray that our time in this amazing Gospel has been something God has used for you to grow in experiencing in your own life what John wrote in John 20:31, "These are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name."  If you missed a sermon you want to review, go to our John Series message page.

With that Gospel foundation in place, where are we headed next?

I am excited to let you know that we plan to begin a study of the book of Ephesians on May 6!

Why Ephesians?  It is a great follow up to our look at the Gospel.  Ephesians chapters 1-3 focus on our identity in Christ.  Because of who Christ is and what He has done, who am I?  Then Ephesians chapters 4-6 focuses on how we live because of who we are in Christ.  So in the months to come, we will follow up our study of the Gospel with a study of how our identity and life changes because of it.

Please be praying for me as I prepare for this new study and for all of us that God will continue to shape us as we study His Word together.
