YOUTH SOULED OUT SUMMER CAMP
June 4-8
Laguna Beach, Florida

The vast majority of our students will tell you that "Souled Out" Summer Camp is one of the biggest highlights for them each year. This year's camp is June 4-8 the Laguna Beach Christian Retreat Center in Laguna Beach, Florida. 

The camp is hosted by Jonathan and Lisa Moore from Columbus, Georgia. Many of you have been blessed by their musical talents through the years here at Gateway.  They are extremely gifted and their band is equally talented.  Christian comedian Lee McBride is the camp pastor and preaches all of our morning sessions.  This year's evening preacher is Adrian Despres who is the chaplain for the University of South Carolina football team. Adrian has preached at Souled Out in previous years and the students look forward to hearing him share. 

In addition, every student is assigned to a small group that will be led by a college student (D-Leader).  In these small groups practical application of the messages is discussed and the students pray for each other.  Several former Gateway students have served as D-Leaders through the years. This year Jenna Moore and Anna Summerford will be working at the camp as D-Leaders.

Recreation is another element of Souled Out that our students really enjoy. They have opportunities to compete against other churches in basketball, flag football, ultimate frisbee, strong man/strong woman, beach volleyball and the Souled Out 5K. Our Gateway team is the 3-time defending champion in flag football and will be trying to 4-peat this year!
